This is 2 months 🧡

It’s 9h21 on a Tuesday morning. We’re sitting in a coffee shop, you’re asleep on my chest. You can nap like this for hours - at home, not so much (but I’m more than happy to oblige and be out in the world with a hot beverage). You fell asleep feeding this morning and had a 10min cat nap before waking yourself up with an enthusiastic poop. You were still in my arms, and I had been contemplating moving you onto the Sleepyhead right next to me, but as per usual it was currently occupied by a little dog who is convinced it is for him (as they are with most baby related things).

Your washing is waiting to be put away but already more and more things will not be going back into your cupboard. We said you’ll be the last and I fear every little chapter closing will feel more painful than the one before. I’m torn between keeping lots of little clothes for a quilt, and passing them on for someone else to love (and feel the love passed on with them).

I couldn’t help but lean down and kiss your head, you stir somewhat. Worth the risk.

Summer came 40w2d (with a little sweeping encouragement)

Keen to let this one do his own thing, but what do we reckon - is he going to make me wait? Troll us and pop out mid Happy Birthday singing tomorrow?

This is 2 months 🧡

It’s 9h21 on a Tuesday morning. We’re sitting in a coffee shop, you’re asleep on my chest. You can nap like this for hours - at home, not so much (but I’m more than happy to oblige and be out in the world with a hot beverage). You fell asleep feeding this morning and had a 10min cat nap before waking yourself up with an enthusiastic poop. You were still in my arms, and I had been contemplating moving you onto the Sleepyhead right next to me, but as per usual it was currently occupied by a little dog who is convinced it is for him (as they are with most baby related things).
